Lindsay Adler uses photography to connect with others and finds that expressing her passion for the subject as expressing her vision through her work as the on of the most rewarding things for her. Her focus in her images is mainly women and wants to send a message of the strength and elegance a woman can sustain and describes her work as a reflection of herself. To create her images she uses the use of gel and light photography to tell a story through artificial lighting.

Lindsay Adler uses colour gel sheets to change the appearance of her shots, the use of artificial light reflects onto the subject to create a primary outcome.

To create reflection Lindsay uses an mirror for her subjects to lean against for an appearance to be reflected against her.

To plan her shoot she needs to maintain a clear plan of her idea, to do this she creates a shoot plan of exactly where her equipment must be placed to carry of the shoot efficiently.

In this articular shoot Lindsay is going for a rainy affect, she uses water to spray on the mirror to create this affect, this texture will be shown affectively in her photograph.

Lindsay highlights her colour gel concept in this shoot also using props and other objects to create a shadowed affect on her models face.

In this particular image she has used orange and yellow tone gels to blend in with her models makeup and/or what her model is wearing.

By checking in her lens she is making sure her subject is close to the camera so she is certain her models shoulders are not included in her image as the main focus for her shoot was faces.

Lindsay uses bright colour gels to show off her models complexion and primarily wants to show off that shadow affect.
